DELIVER IT

Miramichi and the routes around it

DELIVER IT

Going that way anyway.

Community delivery for the Miramichi region. Post what needs to go, offer what it is worth, and a neighbour already driving that way brings it along.

HOW IT WORKS

1

Post your delivery

Size, weight, pickup and destination, the date it needs to arrive, and what you will pay in CAD.

2

A driver claims it

Someone already driving that corridor takes the run. You connect directly and agree on pickup.

3

e-Transfer on delivery

You pay the driver directly by Interac e-Transfer when your package arrives. Deliver It never holds your money.

Canada Post ranges from its published consumer prices guide, effective July 2025, for regional parcels. Courier pricing varies by carrier and service. Deliver It amounts are typical offers, always set by the poster.

Same day, not someday

Your package rides with a driver already on the road, not through a sorting plant three provinces away.

Door to door, both ends

Picked up at your place, handed over at theirs. No counters, no lineups, no cards in the mailbox.

The money stays home

What you pay goes to a neighbour covering gas on a drive they were making anyway.

Too big for the mail? Perfect.

The post office stops at 30 kg. A trunk, a truck bed, or a helping hand does not.

WHAT MOVES ON DELIVER IT

Marketplace finds

The dresser is perfect. It just needs a truck.

Auto parts

The alternator across the county, today, not Thursday.

Care packages

Preserves to a sister in Moncton, still sealed with a note.

Forgotten things

The charger left at the cottage. The glasses left at church.

Local business runs

The bakery order to the market before it opens.

RULES OF THE ROAD

Simple rules that keep this safe for both sides.

The open-box rule

Every package is handed over open or openable. The driver sees exactly what they are carrying before they take it.

Nothing prohibited

No alcohol, cannabis, firearms, medication, live animals, or anything illegal to transport. Drivers refuse anything that feels off.

Real names, both ways

Posters and drivers exchange real names and contact information before anything moves.

Check your insurance

Carrying goods for payment can affect a personal auto policy. Confirm with your insurer before you start driving deliveries.

The deal is between you

Deliver It is a matching board. The agreement, the payment, and the delivery itself are between the poster and the driver.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK

How do I pay?

By Interac e-Transfer, directly to the driver, when your package arrives. Deliver It never holds your money.

Is my package insured?

No. There is no insurance or guarantee through Deliver It. Do not send what you cannot afford to lose, and make your own arrangements with the driver for anything valuable.

What can I not send?

No alcohol, cannabis, firearms, medication, live animals, or anything illegal to transport. Drivers can ask to see inside and can refuse any run.

How do offers work?

You name the amount when you post. The fair-range guide shows what similar runs offer. Fair offers get claimed faster.

Who sees my address and phone number?

Only the driver who claims your run, at the moment they claim it. The public board shows communities and postal codes, nothing more.

Do I need anything special to drive?

A regular licence and your own vehicle. Check with your insurer about carrying goods for payment, then claim runs that fit drives you already make.
